A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Above average breakfast food, not the best but has a lot of choice serve the neighbourhood very well affordable price."
"Best neighbourhood under the block cafe selling local food. Highly recommend their Bee Hoon, Kwat Teow, White Carrot Cake & Spring Chicken."
"Conveniently accessible eatery within carpark. Comfort food and reasonably priced! They have online pickup through online ordering now. Service is so so at times abrupt. Always enjoyed their chicken wings and carrot cakes. Today mee rebus and there’s eggshells in it as well."
"Our 1st time trying the food here at Richton, and we were pleasantly surprise! The cafe was cozy but like a no frills coffeeshop, so prices were understandably and pleasantly affordable! Dining tables were limited, abt 7 tables, but theres an atmosphere of neighbourly friendliness as most of the customers seem to be residents from the surrounding flats who seem familiar with d aunties serving here. We tried their Hokkien Mee & Seafood Horfun, and wow, its delicious and the serving is Generous too! Took a while for me to finish mine! See foto attached. We would definitely come back again to try their nasi lemak! Thankfully a friendly neighbourhood cafe serving good food with affordable prices!"
"Customer service - 9/1 Curry Chicken Noodle $4 taste ok Kopi C Gao $1.60 still ok too Total $5.60, budget food for a cafe. Good to go eat if your nearby. Chicken will be better if breast chicken meat or instead of with bones, easier to eat."
"Very nice cozy food corner in HDB void deck along Pasir Ris Drive 6. Dropped by for breakfast while on an early morning cycling trip in the area because it was the only place to open that early (7am). Auntie is brash in character and blunt but it makes the place more endearing as a heartland food corner IMO (as long as you haven't been an annoying customer to get on the receiving end). Ordered the set A nasi lemak with otah, yuan yang and bean curd with longan. The main food was alright. Nothing outstanding about it, though it's nice that it's light on oil and freshly cooked, and the "otah" was basically flavoured sponge rather than actual otah, which was disappointing. I like their (seemingly handmade?) dessert offerings, and the cold bean curd, sweetened by the longan, hit the right spot to bookend the meal. It helped that there was a seat with a view of the road outside and some nice greenery. Can't really comment on comparative pricing for the area (or the recent price hikes) since I don't live in Pasir Ris, but as someone who's used to the higher prices in the North-East, it definitely remains on the affordable end of the spectrum. tl;dr nice cozy heartland breakfast spot. Don't mind the auntie, try the dessert."
"came here to try their nasi lemak set A (+ luncheon meat, sausage, fish) and a teh o bing. Dish came up to about $10.20; but the best thing about this dish is the flavourful sambal!! the sambal did the dish justice, spice is just right and all the different ingredients to the dish are made hot and fresh on order! chicken wing is well seasoned and crispy, fish filet was a tad over-fried though.. and the rice is decently hot and importantly flavourful too! Definitely coming back again for the sambal and the rice - the rest are supporting ingredients as for reviews about the staff being rude or what not, i dont ever see them being like that..even when there is a long queue and they’re busy. they have character but so long as you’re not out of the line, i doubt they would too. in fact, they’re friendly and helpful!"
"Richton Café is a hidden gem conveniently located below an HDB block in Pasir Ris, making it a great spot for a quick and satisfying lunch fix. The café offers an impressive variety of affordable and reasonably priced dishes, catering to different cravings. Whether you’re in the mood for Mee Goreng, Chicken Cutlet Rice, Hongkong Mee, Hor Fun, Mui Fun, Popcorn Chicken, Yong Tau Foo, Fried Bee Hoon, or Kway Teow, there’s always something to choose from. One of the highlights of this café is its indoor air-conditioned dining area, which provides a comfortable escape from the heat. However, seating is quite limited, especially during weekday lunch hours, so it’s best to come early or be prepared for a short wait. Despite the crowd, the service is efficient, and orders are usually prepared quite fast, making it a convenient option for those on a tight schedule. A standout for me is their sambal chili—flavorful with just the right amount of spice, enhancing many of their dishes perfectly. It’s the kind of place that serves no-frills, hearty meals, ideal for a casual and fuss-free lunch. If you’re in the Pasir Ris area and looking for a budget-friendly, tasty, and quick meal, Richton Café is definitely worth a visit! *However do note that there is no toilet there but there is hand-wash basin at the side."
